Water Sports Specialty Week –
It’s A Blast!
The Camp Bournedale waterfront is a true focal point of activities offered.
Our waterfront staff are all Red Cross certified lifeguards and our swim instructors also are Red Cross certified water safety instructors.
We have a host of exciting water activities including tubing, knee boarding, waterskiing, sailing, wake-boarding, canoeing and kayaking. For those, who attend for multiple weeks and are interested, a certified course in scuba would be available at an additional fee.
During our water-sports week we will offer specific clinics in waterskiing, wake-boarding( our Malibu ski/wakeboarding boat is a key teaching tool) and sailing to those individuals who want to learn and improve their skills in these areas. We will also offer early morning and evening water-sport activities to interested campers. These campers will also have ample time to experience all the other activities camp has to offer.
Our waterfront facilities also include a 25-foot water trampoline, a 14-foot iceberg and climbing wall and a 25 foot pontoon boat to tour our beautiful 3-mile-long lake.
We also have a full sized indoor heated pool and hot tub which makes inclement difficult weather of no consequence and is vital to our swim classes.
The spectaular Camp Bournedale waterfront adds very popular activities for all campers, young and older.
